Just 2 hours outside of Cape Town on the outskirts of Robertson, a winding dirt road through the Kriel’s farm leads to this humble haven with uninterrupted views and no other dwellings or structures in sight. A place to unwind, reconnect and immerse yourself in the stillness of nature.
Luna Cabin is 100% off the grid, solar-powered and eco-friendly. She has been built to blend in and preserve the land, immersed in nature with a soothing and stylish design aesthetic.
The cabin design and details have been carefully considered to provide you with a warm, inviting and relaxing escape.
Enjoy the natural fynbos, birdlife and animals from the comfort of your deck or spot zebra and other wildlife on the neighbouring game farm with a pair of your binoculars.
Off the beaten track, Luna Cabin invites you into another world, a place where life is simple, peaceful and beautiful. A place that reminds us to slow down, breathe deeper and look up at the Moon.
Self Check-In
With private access to the cabin, you can check in at any time after 2pm.

Access & Travel
Although the road to your stay is a dirt road, 4×4 vehicles are not required to access the cabin. However, we do recommend vehicles with higher clearance for a safer journey.

Guests are invited to check in any time after 2 pm by following our simple check-in process.
If you’re traveling at night, please drive cautiously and watch out for resident springhares, buck and porcupines.
Each stay includes a complimentary wood allocation. If you plan to enjoy extended evenings by the starlit fire, we recommend bringing extra wood. Additional wood is available for purchase on-site, and payments can be made via SnapScan. Your stay also includes a bundle of fire essentials: two 10kg bags of firewood and firelighters.
We have partnered with local businesses to offer additional services and experiences to enhance your stay.
As we are fully solar-powered, please be mindful of overloading the system.
